Uploader

Uploader is a private, self-hosted tool that publishes videos to its owner's own YouTube channels. It runs on the owner's home servers and is not offered to the public: there are no sign-ups, no accounts and no other users.

What it does

• Uploads finished videos, with their title, description, tags, thumbnail and subtitles, to the owner's YouTube channels.
• Adds each video to the right playlist and schedules when it goes public.
• Checks once a day that its access to each channel still works.

How it uses Google

Uploader uses the YouTube Data API through Google sign-in (OAuth). The owner authorises it once for each of his channels. It only ever acts on those channels.

See the privacy policy for what data is involved.
